GAY people fear discrimination in education, according to a new poll.
A YouGov survey of lesbian, gay and bisexual people, commissioned by Stonewall, found that lesbian and gay people expect to experience unfair treatment when accessing education for themselves or for their children.
YouGov surveyed a sample of 1,658 people which it said was the first statistically significant national poll ever conducted into the life experiences of Britain's 3.6 million gay people.
The findings, published in the report, Serves you Right, look at the experiences and expectations of discrimination when it came to work, education, politics, crime and the criminal justice system, housing and healthcare.
Asked about their own experiences and expectations in education, the findings show: See Discrimination fear for gay people in education system
